Neon Wreck League is a hobby project made by Kris Weaver, an individual developer. This page explains, in plain language, what the website and game collect.
The game
- No account needed. The game doesn't ask for your name, email or contacts.
- Progress stays on your device. Your coins, garage, scores and badges are saved on your phone. Deleting the app deletes them.
- Leaderboards are optional. Online leaderboards (coming soon, using Google Firebase) are opt-in. If you submit a score, the leaderboard stores a 3-letter tag you pick, your score, and an anonymous ID for your device. Tags and scores are public. You can choose never to submit, or email me to have your entries deleted.
- Ads are coming soon. The game will show family-appropriate ads using child-directed, family-safe settings. The ad provider may use basic device information to show and count ads.
- Purchases are handled entirely by the Apple App Store and Google Play. I never see your payment details.
The website
The website uses Google Analytics only if you click "Allow analytics". If you allow it, Google collects things like the pages you visit and your browser and device type. You can say no and still use the whole site, or change your choice at any time:
The site is hosted on Google Firebase, which handles normal web requests (like your IP address) to deliver the pages. There's no email signup.
Children
Neon Wreck League is rated E for Everyone. I don't knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads will use child-directed, family-safe settings, and the leaderboard uses only a 3-letter tag. If you think a child has shared personal information, email me and I'll delete it.
I don't sell your data
I don't sell or share personal information, except with the services named above that make the game and site work.
Changes and contact
If this changes (for example, when ads or leaderboards go live), I'll update this page. Questions or deletion requests: kweaver192133@gmail.com.
